Wonder Woman is slated to come out in 2016. Three DC movies in 2016? More proof of DC putting too many things out too early. And before anyone points Phase 3 of Marvel's plan, they have tested the grounds with several successful (ignoring the Increible Hulk film which was the only one to not be a huge success. And if the "films that gain twice their budget are considered a success" claim is true, then it barely qualifies as a failure.) films beforehand. Their gained the right to be cocky. DC put out a single movie for their new DC Cinemaic Universe which while highly successful, recieved enough mixed attention that they felt the need to make the sequel/JL prequel have Batman in it.

I'm skipping it. It's all new-52 version stuff which just tells me that at the ripe old age of 29 I am rejected from the comic book pool for being "too old". Guess all the disposable income I'll get once I'm done with school will have to go to someone else. Could have given them a nice cut.

Comic book movies are usually aimed a little more toward a general audience, not comic fans.

We don't know anything about the movie yet, we don't know what type of Wonder Woman we're getting yet.

Are we talking about Wonder Woman or Deadpool? I'll most likely go see both and enjoy the $#!% out of them, since my fanboy-isms make me extremely biased.

Wonder Woman, Deadpool is almost guaranteed to be amazing.

We don't know that. If the movie is as fun as the test footage, it could be as good as Iron Man or The Winter Soldier. However, most superhero movies are either hot or miss these days. If the studio tries to make a fun movie and not a good movie, they should be alright.

Something I gotta ask you guys...Who are you rooting for in Captain America: Civil War?
I'm rooting for Cap. I hope he tears that armor right off of Tony.

The cap, duh.
All joking aside I grew up in the military and the thought of the Military Industrial Complex getting super heroes and mutants makes me shake in my boots. I've heard horror stories about what they get away with in real life. I don't have to guess how horrific that could get, I've seen the preview.

Is there anyone who actually thinks Tony's in the right? Besides Mark Millar I mean.

Is there anyone who actually thinks Tony's in the right? Besides Mark Millar I mean. Both sides had equally valid points to make. Superheroes being tools of the government is a horrifying abuse of power just waiting to happen. At the same time there are people running around with potentially devastating abilities, and no guarantee they know how to handle them properly. It really was an interesting premise that unfortunately had to give way to mindless superhero brawls.

I know Millar wanted it to be where Tony and the Pro-Reg forces were portrayed in a better light, but it just got lost in translation I suppose. There's good and bad to both sides, but everyone rails on about how Cap and his group were completely justified in what they were doing. And I agree, to a certain point. It didn't have to go that far but it did and there are various reasons why it went there.

I'm fine with the training, but the registration crossed the line. So did the military jumping as early as they did (felt like two seconds) was really telling. They were treated a weapons not people.

But again, training I'm 100% okay with. That's just a good idea.

I doubt the movie will follow that closely to the comic. A two-and-a-half-hour-long movie couldn't follow so closely to it. It involves so many characters around all kinds of settings.
I think the movie will deal more with simply super heroes, not identities. In the MCU, everyone knows who the Avengers are. Also, since everything about S.H.I.E.L.D./Hydra has been released to the public, nothing is a secret. Maybe the movie will be like The Incredibles where super heroes are prohibited from using their powers/doing heroic things. That's what I think the "Civil War" will be about.

I thought Millar said he just wanted an excuse to have heroes fighting each other.
...oh yeah, that is his claim whenever said Civil War is political. He didn't mean for it to be political, he just wanted a legitimate reason to who have heroes punching the snot out of each other.
I'm pro-reg. I was pro-reg for the Civil War storyline (though I found it distasteful what Tony and Reed were willing to do) so I guess I will be pro-reg for the movie.

Let's get away from talking about politically charged movies, and let's talk about something more fun.
Fox has given release dates to some more of it's movies, Gambit will be released on October 7, 2016. I don't know about you, but three X-Men movies in one year excites me very much.

Would it be too much to ask for a Scott/Jean that isn't based around the PF? I'd happily watch that.

I've never been a fan of the X-Men movies, but after Days of Future Past, I think I'll start watching them regularly.

Saw Big Hero 6 for the first time today, it only came out here recently. A really good movie, one giving us a world and characters I really want to know more about, unfortunately that's mostly because besides Hiro we know very little about these characters. Also the butler was easily the best character in the film.

All right, everyone. So after Ant-Man, we'll be in Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you were able to only see two or three movies, which would you pick?
Here they are just in case: - Captain America: Civil War - Doctor Strange - Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - Thor: Ragnarok - Black Panther - Captain Marvel - Inhumans - Avengers: Infinity War - Parts I & II (counting this as one movie)
My picks would be Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, and Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel and Captain America are my homies. I will stick with them to the end. I chose Thor as well because apparently there's gonna be a big plot twist (like The Winter Soldier) and, as the great Kevin Feige stated, Ragnarok will be the end to all things.
However, if Sony and Marvel Studios end up making a deal and a Spidey film gets included in the lineup, I would swap that for Thor. A Spider-Man film under Marvel Studios would be amazing. (I think I've said that before.)

But if the Spidey film's about Miles Morales and not PP, I'd still watch it, but only if it was on demand.

That's painfully tough. I'm going to have to go with Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Black Panther.
I chose Civil War because it's one of my favorite storylines ever. I chose Avengers because 1) it's two movies that count as one, and 2) it has the potential to include every MCU hero ever. That's the only reason it tops out GotG 2. Lastly, I chose Black Panther because I absolutely love the character, and I think it would be a breath of fresh air in a way that Dr. Strange and Captain Marvel can't truly be, with the cosmic side of things having been explored, and Dr. Strange's character being fairly similar to Tony Stark.
If there was a Spidey movie, count BP out. I'd still get to see him in Civil War and Infinity War, so that'd be enough. Spidey's a must.

From the studio that brought you X-Men DoFP
So desperate for goodwill that they'll invoke X-Men with only the studio as a connection. Next they'll say, "Edited with the same software as Guardians of the Galaxy! Catered by the same company as the Avengers!"
