Yeah, 'Pool's been taken. Punisher is definitely open though and despite what the MCL might say, Jordan never established Castle.

If it means anything I do think you'd make a great daredevil.

I found that funnier than it had any right being.

My only problem doing Daredevil is that I loved the Netflix series sooo much that I'm pretty sure it would just be a weak copy of that

I know something about working under a show.
If you do, and you do not have to, you just find a way to make it your own.

I'm curious to see if you add in your trademark humor into whatever title you claim. It'd be really interesting with Punisher, especially as he's not a humorous character, but I'll be behind whatever you claim.

I still haven't even seen Daredevil.
But even for the titles that don't have recent shows or movies, we have decades of comics that we could all be held up against. It's all the same. We're all doing our own take on established work. Some stick close to the source and try to do a good job emulating what they love. Some of us veer off a bit, mixing things up and such.
I've been working on two ideas for a second series. I recently decided to focus on one that I have little to no knowledge of over one that I had experience with. The one I'm not doing I would have followed the comics very close for a bit before making it my own. The one I am going with is going to be something very original since I've never even read many of the characters I'm going to be writing, and I could turn readers off for being too big a departure.
You take a risk either way. By being too faithful the readers feel it's boring or a pale imitation. By going too far away from it you might turn off others. Either way, you gotta write what you enjoy.

The best thing I've seen is to pull and theme and make that the focus. Maybe one that isn't focused on so much otherwise. It's still from the source, but give you room.
Bu whatever you do, I'm sure it will be great.

I did a little bit of research. I'm really liking Iron Fist right now. I love to write fight scenes, I love martial arts stories, and I can add my humor to him easily. Plus, who doesn't want misty knight and Luke cage in the all star universe? No one, that's who.
