An excellent start to what I'm sure will be an excellent series. Atwell killed it!
And that Ant-Man trailer was great! I can't wait for it too (and I can't believe I typed that)!

Need to find a way to watch it. Maybe Hulu will have it tomorrow.

I like how Marvel Studios is giving their lesser-known heroes movies. I actually am pumped for Ant-Man.

After Sara and Olicityon the DC side, and AoS and Agent Carter on the Marvel side switching alliances is looking very, very temping. Less pain.

Are you talking about Marvel or DC?

Switching from DC to Marvel. We've had many a discussion about this.
I'm about 60-40 Marvel on average. Like it's implied, it varies, but I consistently lean towards Making Mine Marvel.

I'm about 70-30. That includes comics, games, movies, and TV.

About halfway through the pilot I was hooked. Jarvis and Carter have great back and forth. Their work relationship is a highlight of the two episodes so far. I'm surprised by how much humor the show uses. AOS, while comedic at times, just doesn't do humor as well as Agent Carter does. I also like the feel and the setting of the show. I like the era of the thirties and forties, it's always fascinated me. The art styles, the technology, the way people dressed, the music. All that is represented very well here. I also like the fact that things are very bright. The show could've easily been a spy/noir genre crossover, but it isn't. It's bright, optimistic, and colorful; very "The Rocketeer" in style. Give me a choice between this and The Rocketeer or a noir mystery with Private Eye that drinks and smokes too much, I'll pick the former.
Very excited to see where the rest of the series goes.

It was great, Jarvis is my favourite character and his interactions with Agent Carter are easily the best parts of the show, not that the rest of the show is bad but those scenes are a cut above everything else.

Jarvis was like Alfred bu better.

I wouldn't go that far, but then Jarvis can't do the best part about Alfred, which is snark to Batman himself.

I use to be 70-20-10 Marvel (20 is DC and 10 is other). Now I am EVERYTHING! Fun fact, I became 50-50 between Marvel and DC thanks to Superior Spider-Man and thanks to IGN's reviews and someone's recommendation (I think it was Drake) for Valiant, I am now trying out everything comic related.

I though Jarvis was plenty snarky.

If every show had two British people snarking at each other they'd be 10x better.

If we are counting all comics then I'm 40-30-30 Marvel-DC-Valiant.

So I don't know her name but I now have a new favourite Marvel character.
"Is that pistol an automatic?"

Agent Carter is probably the best thing on television right now.

Just the snappy dialogue, the vibrant characters, the raw heroism, the epic themes. Real examples of standing up to all kinds of darkness. And admittedly the lack of mellow drama. Peggy wouldn't tolerate wasting time on it.

"What would the Cap say if I left behind his best girl?"
"He'd say: Do what Peggy says."
This show is so freakin' good!

The whole series was great. Great characters, great humour, great action, can it replace Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the main Marvel show?

Finally caught the first two episodes of Season 2. Loved 'em! Ep 1 was certainly good, but 2 stepped it up quite a bit. Can't wait for more!

This is probably spoilers, but I will say that I don't like love triangles when the romantic arc is already clear. If the writers get through it quickly, have no defined plan, or it isn't clear, then fine, go for it. There's a reason Archie works. For the majority of season one, it was very clear what the arc was and I don't like that they added in characters to cause melodrama and make things a little "soapy" (yeah, I know, comics. Hush).
There's already a line in the first episode that spells out why it didn't happen post-season one and why they could keep it from happening for a short while (and they're not bad reasons). Although, one of them is only appearing for two episodes, so maybe it won't be as I think it will be. Point is, I don't like love triangles (why are they even called love triangles anyway? They're more like lines). And that's my only complaint, the premiere was so good! I'm glad Agent Carter is back!

We all know it will be short lived. AC is classy, it's proven that. It's not going to go the Olicity route and drag out the melodrama to levels of insanity for the sake of dragging it out to levels of insanity.
It's still a great show, and I have faith they have some plan. I actually wonder if she's some kind of plant, to be honest.

I'm shocked right now. That finale was bad. Like, really bad. Maybe the most disappointing and poorly written episode of superhero/comic book TV I've watched. If it hadn't been a season finale, that might be one thing (for it to just be capital B Bad), but as a finale (possibly the series' finale) it was awful. I really enjoyed this season. I don't think it quite lived up to the first, but it was great...until this episode. I mean, it was like the writers did a complete 180 and decided to parody their own show. There was one good Agent Carter scene in the entire damn thing, and that's when a certain character got killed. Beyond that....wow, I'm just genuinely surprised. It was really, truly bad.

just a reminder. DOB and I have Hulu so we get things 24 hours later. Please wait at least that long just to avoid spoilers.

To be fair, you could just not click on the page. I suppose if you don't know when AC debuts every week, that'd be a definite exception. I'm sorry either way. Didn't intend to be spoiler-y.

No plot spoilers, but I will say that the last few minutes (prior to the actual final scene) were unbelievably rushed. That was Star Wars Episode 3 level bad of furiously racing to tie off loose ends.
