First issue is up. It's pretty short but I'm hoping for a constant stream of issues that are short and sweet and easy to read.
This one took a bit longer than I hoped, but that was mostly due to planning out future issues so it should be full steam ahead from now on.
No action in this issue but issue #2 is going to be very much the opposite of issue #1.

It was a short, sweet, solid issue. I cannot wait to see where the Mr. Negative stuff comes in. I loved the part with his mom and can't wait to see that dynamic built. There were a few spelling errors, but overall it was a good issue. Keep it up.

I'm not familiar with The Hood much at all, so I'm kind of unsure who he is or what he does. Like, I have no idea if he's a hero, villain, criminal etc. It was very well written but unless I'm missing something, not much was said in the way of why he wants this person killed or why he's interviewing assassins all day. i like the mother scene a lot.

You're right Liquid, I didn't include any of the stuff you mentioned so you aren't missing anything. Most of that stuff will be addressed throughout issue two and three, mostly two.

Finally read it. It was pretty good. Not great, but definitely a good intro. Only complaint I have is that the ending sentence is a bit of a run-on sentence. Seriously, that is all. Any other complaints I have is answered by this only the first issue so everything is not revealed yet.
Also, to liquid. To my knowledge, The Hood in the comics is a villain who has powers gained from using a cloak that was used by a demon working for Dormammu. After Robbins killed the demon and took the cloak, he started working for Dormammu. Whether this Robbins is the same or not, we will wait and see. Although, based on what heroic mentioned in other threads, like the one where you talk about yourself, this is also gonna be a criminal/villain version.

Why do so many people like the passive tense? ;_;
It was short and sweet. Loved that you actually described the characters. I've been around this and our sister-site for over a year and so many people seem to rely on preconceived knowledge. Not only that, but reading about a criminal makes a refreshing change over our other series. Only problem I could possibly have is the length but I'll hold out on that for another couple of issues to determine if the pacing is good.

I thought this was a nice solid, if a little short, issue. The scene with the Mother was nice, and I like the idea that the Hood is already an established villain and crime lord.
I thought Domino's personality was a little off though. She started formal, went sarcastic, stayed playful, became serious. There was little consistency to her. Fair enough it was only a little section to show her character, but, I felt like I needed more.
Looking forward to the next issue.

Issue two is up, wasn't able to finish it before I went on holiday so I finished it while I was there. A bit longer than the first and reveals a bit more about Sara and introduces Jackpot which I'll come back to I'm thinking in issue four.
The Hood doesn't get any appearance other than being dropped in conversation but with the next issue he comes back to take the center stage.

It was cool. Some spelling and grammar errors, but nothing I hadn't seen before. Shroud was cool. And deadly! The ending was kind of surprising since those two seemed to be friendly until Sara became vicious. Is that how they are in the comics? I only saw Jackpot once and it was in a fanmade RPG Marvel book. Also, mind if I borrow the name of the initial setting? The first issue of Daredevil Noir starts at a dock and I think it would be a nice reference if the dock happened to be the same place here.

Yeah, go ahead and use the dock.
In the comics Sara was the original Jackpot but she stopped being a hero because she didn't really want to do it, Alana was the girl who took on the identity later and then died. There was a comic a year or two ago with Sara becoming Jackpot again with Spider-man encouraging her, her husband gets killed due to a mistake she makes.
I've kinda took a bit of both their stories and decided to blend them up a bit.
