So I have taken it upon myself, with the admin's blessing, to take charge of the continuity section. It started with me scanning all of the in continuity titles for relevant information, which I put in the Timeline and Organizations topics. There is some debate ATM about the creation of the original F4, due to contradictory info in the issues themselves, so take that date with a grain of salt at the moment.
So what we need from everyone is to:
1. Make sure anything related to your series is accurate. If I messed up, just post it here and I'll fix it.
2. Elaborate on anything if you want more relevant information posted.
3. Post any further details you want added to the Timeline and Organizations. Right now it's just based on what's been written so far, but anything else you feel is important and should be added, feel free to post it. If you're worried about spoilers, there's no problem with waiting until the relevant issue comes out.
Finally, I plan to make another topic about information that's publicly known and just how widely it's known. For example, Tony Stark being Iron Man would be almost universally known. He outed himself and the media circus would have been crazy, so pretty much everyone would be aware of it.
The new Spider-Man in NYC, however, would be generally known. It would get media attention, but there's every chance someone living across the country would not be familiar with it, or only vaguely so.
While lastly, Blade's existence and war on vampires is not publicly known. Only those directly involved would have knowledge beyond thinking it's tabloid schlock.
So I encourage everyone to make use of this topic to post anything you want added to the Timeline, Organizations, or upcoming Public Knowledge topics and I'll update them as we go. The hope is that we can all use this information to tie our world together, making references to things when it makes sense and is public knowledge, and keeping the timeline in order. If you plan to set a story or event during the early 1980s, maybe you'd make mention of that crazy Spider-Man character running around NY.
