It's almost up. Needed to hurry and get this thread up first though.

Okay, it's up. I tried giving this place something different and I think I achieved that. I also tried to emulate sitcoms for this, playing more with humor. I have no idea how well any of the jokes or humorous moments landed, but the point is that I tried.
Also, I'm sorry for this being late. I wanted to get it up on Saturday, but by the time Drake got back to me, I was already at a friend's house, hanging out before going to see Ant-Man the next day. And I was tired on Sunday, while today I was busy cleaning house. There's also the fact that I wasn't feeling up to writing something so positive for a bit after the shooting in Lafayette. I almost asked if I could sit the anniversary out and just focus on X-Men. But, I figured it would be better to write something fun and positive despite everything.

I fell in love in love with this at the very start.
Humor was fantastic. Rich was easily the best thing in this issue, for sure.
I don't really have any complaints, other than I thought it was too short. I had a great time reading it, but before I knew it, it was over.
I'd give this a 9.25/10. (Really precise, I know.) Well-written, humor was on point, and very memorable. Just wasn't long enough.

I, too, am happy with how this turned out! Some of the jokes were a little weak, but overall it was a really funny and fun issue!
8/10

I don't know if I've gotten a 9 before on this site. IronGuy, I'd love to hear your thoughts on X-Men. Please drop a review in the X-Men discussion thread. Drake, I'm not surprised some of the jokes were weak, but I am glad that the story was fun and humorous. And I'm glad you like how it turned out!

1. You can watch Netflix on a laptop. 2. It would have been helpful if the inner monologue was differentiated more with italics or something.
It was a nice approach to just go with a night out story with little action. The humor was fine for a non comedian. The Clarissa moment was a little...iffy. But all in all it was a nice little story with some character bits.

Funnily enough, I include a Netflix on Pete's laptop scene next issue. I'd planned it before having read any of the drafts.
