So I need some Biology class lingo for my next SSS issue and was hoping someone could save me from having to look up Youtube videos or something. Anyone willing to help out? Not too intensive.

I just need a bit of dialogue of a professor giving an assignment to students which would require them to partner up. It's also supposed to be very early, like first or second class. So I'm not even sure if they'd do that that early. This is all foreign to me. I never even took Biology in high school(or I did and I forget.)

They'll do that day one. Easy.
Wow, lots of options. I would say to place a number, say 10 creatures, in the tree of life. Force them to research their taxonomy. It's a solid opening assignment.

"All right then, for your first assignment you're going to pair up. You'll be picking ten mammals and placing them on the tree of life. You'll need to research their taxonomy as well. I expect this done by next Tuesday. Any questions?"
Eh? Sound about right? What about the time frame?

I'd write it down and do it.He might assign a list of ten to a group, to make sure they were spread out. But I like it.
