Don't worry, Pym won't be in the Cap issue and thanks for clearing that last part up for me.

You have no idea how much that means to me, Jordan! Thanks! I really look forward to getting started on Avengers!
The past-tense is just my style, so sorry, but it's staying.

Very well done. My one complaint would be that you put it out before Spider-Man and Cap reached that point in their own series. I know you guys are leading to something, but seems to me like it should have waited. But otherwise great issue.

I know. We'd talked about that, and I honestly agree with you. But this also works. It's just a little shot in the arm to get this site going. Avengers is supposed to be that one title that you read if you're only reading one title. It's that introductory, flagship title. It's what pushes the site. So really, it had to happen.
I guess.

#4: I thought it was very good and it had few grammatical mistakes. My only problems are, like Stardrifter stated above, that I felt like you spoiled a little to much in your plans for Spidey. I also felt that Spiderman and Captain America would have even more questions for each other, other then that I thought it was great. 9/10

Just curious, did you read all or just #4?

He only read #4. I've talked to him already about it.

Alright, I was just curious cause that's the only one he commented on.

(Here are the rest)
#1: I thought it said everything it needed to say despite being short. It describes the apocalypse and Kang's hate for the Avengers in such a crisp and short manner. I personally loved it despite feeling that it was a little too short.
#2: I thought this was another excellent issue. My only problem was that I felt you rushed the whole Brian becoming greedy ordeal, and at least explained a little more background to the characters.
#3: Once again, it was very well written. The only question I have is why Hank Pym just immediately went to contact Johnny, and wanted Johnny to join him in fighting Kang and Doom. I realize this will probably answered in the first arc. I also really love the idea of having Spidey and Johnny on the first Avengers roster. It is a very original idea, especially Johnny being on the team.

Just read issue 6. Will read and review issue 5 soon. I thought it was a very good issue. I would say great except for two things. One, I don't think people should have actually reacted in awe to the reveal that Tony is Iron Man. Actually, I think that would have work most of the time. But the way you made the crowd was getting so angry, the reveal would have most likely made many of them even angrier. That is how I feel though, and other will most likely disagree. Second, Mandarin just feels off. And after IM3 handling of him (I still think the movie is great. But their Mandarin felt like a slap to my face. Good thing Kingsley's acting soften the blow) I am not likely gonna forgive this part anytime soon. But depending on future showings of him, I might change my mind. Basically, this isn't a great introduction to the Mandarin. 7.5/10

Gah, a server problem deleted my last review! Well, actually it caused it so the post was never registered. But anyway, what I said in my review was that this issue was great. It was an interesting twist to introducing Cap into the world. Red Skull was great when he was introduced. My only complaint is that you used Kurt, Scott, and Xaiver without claiming them. I will be discussing with Drake about it especially since he seems to already have an idea how to handle it. Otherwise, this is a great issue! 8/10

I feel like that, with everything that has happened recently, and what my brother has stated, it would be wise to just change the Prelude issue instead of claiming just those three characters for a Cap title.

SK and I have gone over it. I believe we have come to a solution. Now all that needs to be done is for Trance to pm hitmonkey about using those characters.

Captain Marvel:
Well written, but waaay too long and kinda boring. Great characterization and drama, but for a prelude it felt like too much. It should have been at least two issues. I ended up skipping a good chunk, will go back later.
Iron Man:
Exact opposite. Rushed. Tony's speech was corny and his reveal didn't have any impact. Mandarin had no presence. I would have liked this fleshed out more.
Captain America:
Rushed as well. Steve's awakening was so blasé. The X-Men just throw everything at him like its no big deal and he just kinda takes it. Red Skull was also bed agreeable for an evil Nazi.

Just in the defense of Iron Man--wasn't rushed.

If it feels rushed but wasn't that's not exactly better than it actually being rushed.

You are right on that point and that obviously something I'll have to work on. But it was still not rushed.

It was an okay concluding issue although I wonder why Kang went up to Banner and told him that he will die. Especially since he didn't do it to anyone else. 7.5/10

I'm still getting back into the hang of writing, so I'm sorry if it wasn't that compelling. It was kind of a warmup issue.

This needs editing. Whirlwind has to be taken out of it. His origin takes place in Avengers. It's vital to the story. Fix that and I'll post Avengers #1 tomorrow.

Sorry about that, I guess I probably should've gotten myself caught up before posting that. I'll catch up today though. And I fixed it, so Avengers should be ready when you are.

It was okay. I'm not big on the over the top evil villains, so I wasn't feeling the ending. Nobody views themselves as a villain or evil. But at least this leads into the series proper. Keep em coming.
