It's very late, I know. Anyway, Edge's panel is starting now. For those of you curious, the other two panels are still open for questions.
We'll have an interview or two up in a little while.

I'd love to hear from Xen on Blade.
I'd like to know how you feel about picking up a title that is already in continuity and how you feel like you can make it your own.

My feelings are the same.
Sorry, folks, for this wait. We have a couple interviews planned, but Jordan needs to get on first.

I would love to hear both Cmiller's and Xen's plan for GoG and Blade respectively. We already have solicitation for the next Blade issue at least.

I think Jordan is preparing an interview for me, but feel free to ask me anything here and I'd be happy to answer any and all questions.

Do you have any big twists planned for the GotG cast?
I'm really looking forward to this title! The Guardians are my favorite team in the Marvel Universe.

Any hints to what the first story arc will be? Is Starlord gonna be the leader or you gonna have someone else lead the group? Will there be trips to Earth, or just space adventures for now? Are you gonna make any changes to Rocket Raccoon? He is my favorite character on the team. Also, are you gonna use the Starlord helmet from the Annihilation event? Because that is the best Starlord helmet to me.

1. I'm still working out what I want the first arc to be. I have three options with one being Star-Lord leaving Earth, the second being the direct organization of the Guardians or just start in the middle and kick off with the best adventure I can.
2. Starlord will be less the leader and more of the focus character. He's going to be the Rose Tyler, the Luke Skywalker, the Kitty Pryde type character who the audience can get into and see the world through his eyes. He will probably end up leading the team, but for now it will be more of a collective.
3. There will most definitely be trips to Earth, but for now they will be traveling through space, on the run. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but if I do a second title it will be Earth based and who doesn't love a good crossover?
4. Rocket Raccoon will be more or less the same. He will greatly test my abilities as a writer since I've never written a character like that before. So bare with me as I stumble.
5. Not as of now. They probably won't have too much time for traditional costumes.

Here's Cmiller's first interview for Guardians of the Galaxy!! Sorry about the wait guys!
Here ya go!
1. What made you want to join the site in the first place? Well, honestly I’m trying to write more and I wanted to get some words to paper rather than wait for an original idea, I decided to work on some already established ideas. That and I recalled that you allowed Doctor Who on here at one point and I’ve kind of been working on a unified Doctor Who timeline that I’d love to implement here.
2. Do you have any special goals for writing for this site? I’d like to improve my writing abilities, which is really my main reason to write fanfiction. I’d propagate my abilities to tell larger than life stories, which kind of leads to the next question…
3. What made you want to take over Guardians of the Galaxy? I’m used to telling smaller character pieces that don’t have frequent changes of settings. So, I felt like this would allow me to do some really fun things with Aliens of the Week and what not. I also really wanted to tell some Doctor Who stories, but upon reflection, I really wasn’t interested in doing a Doctor Who series, so I felt like this would be my best bet to do some stories featuring the Oncoming Storm. I also wanted to do a title that I have little experience with so I could do research and have a bit more freedom.
4. Any major All Star twists you can let us in on? Honestly, I can’t think of too many. The Elders of the Universe are going to be related to The Doctor in some way. Groot is going to be a bit more intelligent… Honestly, I don’t like to change too much. I feel like that good characters are good characters and I’d rather not do much to throw that away.
5. Where do you draw inspiration from as a writer? A lot of things. I’ve written conversations between me and my friends into titles. I watch the news. I feel like especially with Sci-Fi that you should be using current events to inform your stories. So if you want a hint as to where I’m going, just read the newspaper.
6. How do you feel about being the first writer to launch the Cosmic Line at All Star Marvel? It’s not something that really factored into my decision or really made me pause. In fact, I think it’ll be fun to play with my own part of the universe. One of the reasons I kind of got overwhelmed in the past was due to constantly working with other writers. Now I can choose who I work with and when I work with them.
7. You're the founding father of the UDCU, the site which was used as the inspiration for this very board. How does it feel to come to this site and not be the administrative power? To quote the Ninth Doctor… Fantastic. I probably would have lasted longer on that site had I not been in charge. I generally like leadership, but it just got to be too much. It’s hard to be in charge of a collaborative effort where there are so many different people and different ideas over how to run things.
8. Lastly, any plot details you can lay on us before you start your series? Hmm... I’m trying to think of a few things that I could talk about here. I’m not really good at hype. If you have specific questions just ask!

I'm curious as to how much smarter Groot will be considering in a late arc of the guardians comic he's revealed to be speaking ridiculously advanced technobabble.

Here's the Presents Interview:
1. What made you want to write the first arc of Presents?
I love Daredevil and the Punisher and, at the time, I was looking for a project to do. Now I've sort of found a way to take this project and link it into everything I've been doing since I restarted this board a year ago. It's all linking together slowly, and I've still got a long way to go and a lot of work to do, but it is linking together and I think that this story will serve not only as a very good stand alone story, but also a nice tie to an overall narrative I'm doing.
2. Who do you like more: Daredevil or Punisher?
I think that they both have their merits and their problems. On one hand, reinventing the Punisher has been funner than reinventing Daredevil, but on the other hand, Daredevil is richer and funner in the 616 and Ultimate universes. I'd have to go out and say that as far as their All Star versions, I like Punisher more.
3. Where do you plan to take your story next, after your mixed review and slightly controversial first issue of Presents?
I think where I'm going from here on out will make the masses much happier. That first issue was a lot of set-up that NEEDED to be done for the rest of the arc, and in this next issue the action will start and the rest of the story will be a fast-paced, non-stop ride to the end of the tunnel. Daredevil will be introduced, obviously Punisher and Daredevil will face off and, in the end, the truth behind the Hand will be revealed!
4. How have you approached this project differently than other projects?
Generally, I approach a project as a fun way to recreate a beloved character or franchise. This time I'm attempting more. I think you can tell with just the Church scene from Presents #1 that I'm trying to be more stylistic, I'm testing out different writing styles and choices, sentence structures and how they affect the audience. Overall, I'm really starting to do a rhetorical analysis on my own works and attempting to improve myself in doing so.
Drake will have a special interview coming up soon! Any questions or comments?

So, as the final announcement of the Winter FanCon 2013, I'd to like reveal the next writer on Presents following Jordan....
Me. I'll be writing an Iron Man/Hulk team up arc. Here's the short interview.
...
1. How do you feel about following Jordan on the Presents title? Will your story be similar in any way to his?
I'm excited. Jordan's putting out great work, so it'll be tough to follow him, but I am excited.
My story features Iron Man and Hulk, so in a way it is. It's a team up book (NOTE: Presents doesn't have to be), but other than that, I think our two stories are very different. Jordan's is very much a dark, supernatural street-level story. Mine is lighter, and much more sci-fi oriented.
2. How does it feel to establish two well known and popular characters into ASMU continuity?
Great! I'm essentially the only one who's really touched them so far, so this isn't anything new per se, but it is a cool experience. I love both of the characters, and if you want to get a sense of the fun/witty banter I'll be throwing around then just check out Avengers and/or my fun Spidey action scenes. Also, if there's anyone new out there who's trying to find a good place to jump in with the Avengers or the site, do it here. This is a self contained story that's lightly coated in continuity.
3. What major themes and ideas do you plan on playing with in your latest blockbuster work?
First off--and this is more of an idea than a theme--I'll be introducing All Star Marvel's first modern day mutant terrorist. And with that mutant terrorist comes a lot of crazy action and fun. I will feature a couple of small themes that naturally presented themselves in my work, but I'm going to let you guys try to pick up on them.
One last idea that I'll mention is this: I'm doing what I did with Whirlwind again. The bad guy's Mimic. Some of you may not even know who he is. That'll change soon. Just picture a guy who can copy people's powers taking Hulk's and being fully in control. Scary thought, right? Wait till you see his final powerset. Let's just say that he will become possibly the strongest threat Hulk and Iron Man have ever faced all the way through Avengers.
4. You've been the pen behind two of the biggest titles to hit this site in the past year, Spider-Man and Avengers, how does it feel to be hitting the pages with another big title?
It's great! I love all the opportunities I have on this site! I'm really excited to get to write Iron Man and Hulk so soon again after Assemble, and I'm pumped to forge Mimic into one of the most terrifying villains in the ASMU.
5. Any final thoughts about this arc to leave us with?
Expect a lighter tale than I've ever written before, more in line with Joss Whedon's Avengers than my own. Also, look forward to getting "Broken" after this arc.
