This was a big one, and not just in length. It will probably take a while for me to gett all my thoughts about the story together but this was a great Quiksilver and Cyclops focus issue. In fact i think I prefered Cyclop's here more than I have in most other places.

Drake, it is very clear that Cyclops is your favorite character, because you got him perfect. Quicksilver was great too.
This issue was heavy. It was good and it was long. Honestly, if I ever leave this site or drop the X-Men, I want you (and adrini) to take over. You know what kind of problems can arise from mutant - human tensions getting high. Because they're the same as most tense moments in the history of civil rights movements.
I only wish you would've told me what you were doing. I would've let you use the X-Men in this. I loved the X-Men references, by the way.

Thank you for the kind words! This took a lot of work, so I'm glad it seems to be paying off. thetrueelec Thanks! Yeah, originally the plan was to focus on those two, Jean and Wanda, but the plot ended up being so big I needed to cut down on the cast. So, naturally, I chose my two favorite X-Men (although Pietro almost doesn't count with his Avengers history) and focused on them. Glad you like my Scott! thejellyfish Scott's my favorite X-Man, but not quite my favorite character. Peter Parker takes the cake on that one, but Scott, Rocket Raccoon, and Bart Allen are close seconds. I'm really glad you guys like him! I certainly have a lot of experience with the character reading-wise, so it's nice to know I can convey my knowledge in written word. Also, big thanks to Adrini who developed Scott as he is now, allowing me the perfect material to play with. Funny you mention the X-Men. Once I'm finished with Guardians, it's between that and Daredevil for my new title. Sorry for not telling you! It definitely would've been fun to include the X-Men!

Wow that was long. That could have been two issues. You should change the title to Giant Size X-Factor Annual #1. Before the pros come the cons. 1. When the team learns of the riots the news mentions it's the second day. What? No one turned on the news till then? No one checked Facebook, Twiiter, Yahoo, Google, etc? 2. Oh my God will you stop with your hair fetish! I counted at least six or so times where you call Quicksilver the silver haired _____ or Scott the brunet. It's creepy. Once an issue it might be good to break up a little, or using it to initially introduce the characters hair color, but it drives me nuts. Anyway, despite all that it was really good. Nice use of the characters. I think Pietro gets off a bit easy in the end, but that's not a huge deal. And I would complain about Jeans abuse of her powers but that's consistent with the main title. Otherwise you got the characters down well and told a solid, self contained story. I hope adrini plans to incorporate it into her series in at least a small way so it's not this huge event that's never mentioned again.

I'm going to edit that right now, actually.
1. That's a stupid plot hole. You got me there. I guess there are ways they wouldn't have seen anything, but it's still stupid of me.
2. LOL! I don't know what's up with my hair obsession. It's just what pops into my head when I'm trying to think of an easy nameless approach to addressing a character. I'll try to tone it down in the future. XD
Glad you liked it! I worked really hard on making this the story I wanted to tell but also fitting in with the continuity of the series, so I'm glad it's paid off!

Jean does abuse her powers, and she knows it. She also has no choice and hates it. It's one of the major problems she has working for SHIELD.
The event will be incorporated. It actually works quite well with what I was planning anyway. And as per the first day, I'll say they were on a mission or something.
But I liked it. Glad others did to.
But now I have to go write a raccoon. And a tree.

Drake You do seem a tad fasinated by hair. I wonder how well you would write Thor or Medusa...
