Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! I'm happy to announce that the FanCon will return this year!
For those of you not in the know, the Fanfiction Convention (or FanCon) occurs every year in December. Every writer showcases a little bit about their title, answers questions from guests and fellow writers alike, and discuss what the site means to them.
The Con will be from December 18th to January 2nd this year.
Now, we're doing a little something different this year. Every writer will respond to an interview created by a different writer for each of their titles. Who's interviewing who won't be revealed simply because it's unnecessary, but the interviews will be released during the panel corresponding to their title.
The schedule is as follows.
December 18th - December 21st:
The Heroes Part 1: Earth's Mightiest: Agents of SHIELD, Fantastic Four, and (NEW!) The Invincible Iron Man will be discussed at this panel, as well as an update given on The Avengers.
December 21st - December 26th: (Holiday break will be given on Dec. 24+25, but writers are welcome to post)
The Heroes Part 2: Webs and Wonders: The Amazing Spider-Man, The Spectacular Scarlet Spider, and (NEW!) Fallen Angels will be discussed at this panel.
December 26th - January 1st: (Holiday break will be given on December 31st, but writers are welcome to post)
The Edge: The Epic and The Absurd: Guardians of the Galaxy and (NEW!) Weirdworld will be discussed at this panel. Additionally, an update on Dark City's role in continuity will be given.
December 29th-January 2nd: (Holiday break will be given on December 31st, but writers are welcome to post)
The X-Line: World's Strangest: Astonishing X-Men and X-Factor will be featured at this panel.
There will be no anniversary panel this year. We're considering making that a bi-annual thing.
