Firstly I put the chances of this being true at exactly zero, now that being said who would I see Cap putting on a second Avengers team, well Falcon is obvious, even if he becomes a member of The Avengers he'd follow Cap. I want Carol Danvers to appear in the MCU so I'll put her on the team as well, I'd add She Hulk for the same reason they'd be the powerhouses. Considering what we know of Phase 3 I'd say Black Panther, Ant Man, and possibly Dr. Strange would be shoe ins. I think that would be a decent team, though again I can't see this coming true at all.

I'd love to see a variation of Cap's Kooky Quartet only a bit bigger. Something like Cap, Hawkeye, Falcon, BW, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. It'd be fairly black ops or subtle as far as superpowers go, but I think it would be a fun nod to the comics and an even better team (quipping/personality mashing-wise) than the original MCU Avengers.

It would never never happen but boyscout Scott. The mentor/student thing could really work.

I would love nothing more than a Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel film.

Variety has reported that Captain America 3 will be about the Civil War. Plus, more and more rumors about Sony sharing Spider-Man rights with Disney are surfacing.
I pray to Uatu that these rumors are true. Although I kinda wish the Civil War could have its own movie and be called "Marvel's Civil War." Cap 3 could lead up to movie and be about the Stamford incident and the process of making the SRA. I really don't think you could cram an event this epic into two and a half hours. I really don't.
What are you guys' thoughts on this?

Well as Civil War was horrible and can't work in the current MCU. I hope that it has as much to do with the comic Civil War as Age of Ultron will.
In other news WE ARE GETTING A WONDER WOMAN MOVIE! Sure it'll be in the same universe as Man of Steel but it will finally exist.

It's funny that Marvel can pull off GTOG perfectly, yet DC can't even make a Superman movie that everyone likes.
I loved Civil Way, by the way. One of the best arcs ever.

A Wonder Woman movie?! Be still my heart. I think Wonder Woman may be the only DC movie I'm interested in.
In other, more relevant to Marvel news, Channing Tatum has talked about some progress on the Gambit solo movie; it's going slow, but I think they're taking their time, which is good, but I want it now.

The X-Men series' timeline is so confusing, I'm glad Gambit will have his own movie. I'm also glad Deadpool will have his own movie, too.

Deadpool is another movie I would like to see. Not as much as Gambit, but still.

I'm with you, comixmaster. Civil War helped get me into comics. If only for nostalgia, I love it and I can't wait for Cap 3! That being said, I certainly think elec is right and it won't mirror the comics to any significant degree beyond maybe Iron Man and Cap being on opposing sides of the war.
I pray to God the Spidey rumors are true! As for DC...I'm excited but at the same time...I don't know. I thought Man of Steel was an entertaining movie, but a bad Superman film. We'll see....

Well, everyone...It's been confirmed that Iron Man will be in Cap 3. 2016's gonna be awesome. We'll have Batman vs. Superman AND Captain America vs. Iron Man. It seems that it'll be like Civil War but on a smaller scale. It's reveals that this that make me proud to be a comic book fan.

I've already decided I'm not seeing, MoS still gets me angry just thinking about it, I'm not doing that to myself a second time.

I still haven't seen MoS. It looked terrible.
Or the ASM movies. Same reason.
edit: Also I keep meaning to finally finish First Class, I swear. Maybe I'm just picky.

That's an amazing choice for MoS, even ignoring how badly it screws up Superman it's just a horrible movie from start to finish. It's a good choice for ASM 1, that movie is really not good. It's a decent choice for ASM2, i enjoyed the movie but it's not one I'll ever rewatch. First Class however is a really goodmovie and I recommend finishing it.

I've seen maybe half of First Class. It just did not look interesting to me in the least.
I do want to see Days of Future Past because time travel gives me feelings, though, so I'm gonna have to at some point.

I've been crazy busy but I really should. I asked for one character back for years, be rude not to support them now that she's here. Just down on my list at present.

I loved MoS AND both TASM movies. MoS was downright amazing from its acting, its special effects, and its messages. Don't be afraid of what the world will think of you; be proud of who you are. This movie had Supes go against forces that were actually as strong as him. He actually THREW PUNCHES in this movie. TASM was also great, though I didn't think it was necessary. I think the point of the ASM movies is for Sony to keep the movie rights to Spider-Man. Nevertheless, they're still good.

I do agree that the acting in MoS was great, if only the script had given any of the actors stuff to do that would have been worthy of that level of acting. Instead we got a movie more interested in showing ohe pretty effects th actually telling an interesting, or logical, story.

Yes, the story wasn't great (which really surprises me, considering that Christopher Nolan helped out with it), but it still made sense.

Most of it did sure, but Clark was shown to get his powers only after years of being exposed to yellow sunlight, Zod and the others got them after two seconds.

THE AGE OF ULTRON TRAILER IS OUT!!!! AND IT'S ADSOAFMKDNAKFDNDKSANFDSNSDLAMFD.....must compose self........It's ****ing AWESOME!! Spader kicks ass and steals the show....although admittedly he pretty much is the show.
On the topic you've been discussing, MoS was FAR from great, but I certainly enjoyed it. The message was nice, sure, and the acting (with the exception of Amy Adams as Lois) was superb, but the script was cringe worthy ("I think they want to make a big entrance," "I think that only applies to humans"), the plot weak, and the tone...well, it tried to be hopeful, but it wasn't. The action was sweet, though. Very, very cool. I have no doubt Batman and Superman's fight in BvS will be epic....and probably a bit overly dark and simplified. Still, epic.
As for TASM movies....well, I consistently enjoy both when I see them, but 2's definitely gone down in my ratings. I REALLY liked it when it first came out, but now? It's ok. I mean, I think parts of it are great, but it's definitely not an Avengers, or a Dark Knight, or even a Winter Soldier (let alone GotG) for that matter.
So...yeah. I'm openly part of the crowd. Marvel Studios rules. Warner Bros, et al...well, I wouldn't say they drool. They're just not even CLOSE to as a great.
And as a HUGE fan of Cyke and someone who's sick and tired for Wolverine, Days of Future Past and First Class are easily two of my favorite superhero movies ever. I liked The Wolverine well enough. FOX is definitely second in my rankings.

The trailer for those of you who are still hunting for it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmeOjFno6DoJames Spader is definitely one of my favorite actors. I know Avengers 2 is going to be dark and will probably end on a downer, but James Spader will make it worth it. MoS gets worse with age. When I saw it, there were parts I liked and parts I didn't like. The more I think about it the more I hate it, because of everything it represents with DC and New52 and their trend of Gritty-Gritty-Dark-Dark. I likely won't go see BvS when it hits, and I really hope that our first real Wonder Woman movie isn't made with this same kind of tone in mind. To MoS's credit, the casting was actually great. The veterans and the new blood all did excellent jobs... when they were allowed to. Most of the time every one just gets "Nolaned" and can only stare blankly and talk about how important the movie you're seeing is. That's a bad director though, not bad acting. Though I'd love for the rest of the Marvel properties to go back to Marvel studios, Amazing Spider-Man is decent enough to warrant watching. A few missteps here and there, but overall better than the Tobey Maguire era. I've heard they kinda sorta rebooted the X-Men movies, but I probably won't go see any more of them until I'm certain they're not going to push Wolverine/Jean. And now FOX is rebooting Fantastic Four just so they can keep the movie rights to spite Marvel.

Ultron is scary.
I'm being 100% honest here. I think Ultron is a terrifying character. Even still, I'm looking forward to this.

That trailer is amazing, i am super pumped. James Spader is great, though I only really know him from Boston Legal but he was even better than I expected in the trailer.
I am cautiously optimistic about Fantastic Four, Chronicle was amazing and Michael B. jirdan really should be worth the price of admission alpne he's that good an actor.

I'm with you, elec. I'll go see F4 if only to spite the MB Jordan haters. If it sucks....well, you can bet I won't see the second. Honestly, I really want the rights to go back to Marvel, but that won't be happening for at least another 5 years, and Marvel's kicking ass anyway with what they've got. Plus, there's very little chance we would've seen a GotG or Antman movie should Marvel have owned the rights to F4, X-Men, or particularly Spidey.

Watched the trailer again. Anyone else picking up on the shot of Andy Serkis making him appear similar looking to Ulysses Klaw? I'm not the first to say this, but I have to agree with what I've read.
And I don't know if I've said this yet, but the Hulkbuster made me cry out little fanboy tears! Jesus, it's awesome!!!
More than ever, I want to be able to write the Avengers again. Even with a different cast, I'd love to be able to tell the same type of epic story mixed with fun crossover that Avengers has come to represent on the site.
