Just finished reading the prelude issues and it was definitely an interesting read.
With something like the fantastic four, or say the X-men, there is alot of potential for stories whether it's a re-imagining of the basic concept or something completely different. What you're doing seems like a nice mix of both and I'm curious to see how you handle all the crazy adventures that the FF crew are known for.

Two issues in one day!
I should have had them done back on the 30th but I got unexpected work.
Now that I'm in continuity, you can expect F4 to be updated on a more regular basis. 0.1 was brought to you by Mez based on my outline with light editing from me. Should be fun stuff.

SO naturally I read .1 first just to see how good it was and it still made me laugh between the jokes I wrote and the jokes you added, gold IMO. I'll read the fourth prelude (sorry I'm being slow) and then #1 later on. Good work so far.

Read #1 so far, but I really like it. I was confused at some parts, but I soon realized it was because I was getting Grimm and Spider mixed up. 7.5/10

Read .1 and have to say it is a funny issue and characterizes Scarlet Spider very well. Although, I don't think it adds much to the story. 7/10

It was really just a fun side-story to let Mez mess around on the Foundation. Given work, I wasn't going to be able to finish my original .1 issue so I asked him if he'd fill in. He gave me around 800 words, I added another five hundred to it. Who knows... Maybe the super-sized animals will come into play later?

Only Echiiro Oda (creator of a manga called One Piece where almost every character you see gets used again later on and even the random dog or bird has a backstory) could top that kind of Chekhov's Gun.

I'll admit that I've considered adding Scott and Cassie Lang to the F4 mythos but that'll wait until the site is a little older. Then there are people like the Mole Man who could have experimented on people like that. So I could do something with it.

I enjoyed the first issue, especially Ben's interaction with Franklin. my only knowledge of Cho comes from World War Hulk where he was extremely annoying so I was surprised that he was an interesting character in this.

I liked the first issue, it had a good amount of both team interaction and setting up mysteries both of which were really entertaining.

Caught up with the prologues.
Fantastic: Was a good issue. It had a lot of character moments that made it rich and I liked Paste Pot Pete and how the Four are superstars. 6.5/10
Marvel: My favorite of the preludes. I liked the space colony, gives me some Sonic the Hedgehog nostalgia. I think she might be my favorite character. 7/10
Spider: Enjoyed tying into the Spider mythos. Looking forward to seeing where your Spider-Girl story goes. 6.22/10
Fourth: Least favorite. I feel it is dry next to your other three. 5.5/10
#1: Good, strong start to the series. Enjoying all of the characters. Interested in Cho. 7/10
#.1: Not the best but not the worst. Funny. Look forward to seeing if the elephant comes back into play. And am I picking up on some romance here? 6.7/10

So, I think I'm caught up on everything. I like where this series is going - it's different to the FF proper, but with enough similar elements so I know where I am. Which helps. Maybe you are a Hickman fan? (How could you not be...)
I love the idea of the Four being so very, very popular and for Reed to move everything up into space so that he's away from pesky things like ethics laws. Interesting characterisation of Franklin, not sure if he's sort of really arrogant or if he's a wee bit on the spaced side or some ultimate combo of the two. I liked it.
My only real problem was that I felt the .1 issue didn't work all that well, but actually having read the comments here and looking back on it in retrospect, it happens. Maybe your style doesn't mesh all that well with Mezz's, which is fine. It happens. Happened to me a lot...
Anyway, I'd really like to see more of this. It's a really refreshing look into the world of the FF that we don't see too much. It's all Wizard and Doctor Doom and less about the family and people. Looking forward to more.

Alright, so I'm going to erase FF #1 and restart because I just can't figure out where to take that story arc. Most of the scenes on the Foundation will stick, just not anything with Cho and the Wizard. As for Spider-Man, since it has been rebooted, if someone wants it now, they can have it. Otherwise, I'll give it till the middle/end of the month and release an issue on that. My re-release of F4 #1 should be out today. I hope. GOOD WRITING EVERYONE!

ISSUE #1 UP!!! I'm working on the ... late New Year special, I hope that'll be up today or tomorrow. I finally have some time off work, so I should be able to get a little done.

I read it and enjoyed it. Despite never having read an issue of it before #1, I understood everything that was going on. That's a sign of a good story teller. And a good number 1. 8/10.

Most of that was Wachter, only the last...two scenes, and a few edits here or there were me. You'll get to see me beginning with Hulk and F4 #2.

Since I already reviewed most of this, I will just take a look at the changes. First of all, I am okay with getting rid the scene with Cho because there is no telling where to go from that scene and I think Wachter left the site so you can't really ask him what he was planning with Cho if he even remembers. I was thinking that Doom was acting weird, I personally don't think he speaks that way, but it turned out to be a Doombot. So I guess it doesn't really matter especially since they apparently have personalities of their own. Something I never saw before yet interesting. The final scene was okay and suspenseful. All in all, the changes were good and didn't detract the story.

Fantastic Four #2 is up. I hope you guys like it. I may be able to release a third issue before months end, but I wouldn't count on it if I were you guys.

I liked but mostly for the scenes with Doctor Doom. Now I understand the speech he made last issue. I also approve the changes you made to Doom. It somehow seems appropriate. I also like Jim Hammond and I have to ask if he is an android in this universe as well? Or from WWII like the original version. Everything else was okay. Except for Valerie. She somehow seems to have a change in her personality from Wachter's run. It is probably just her acting differently for the cameras, but considering your track record with females... I will wait for more Valerie to decide whether you are making any major changes from before you took over the title. Also, who is Black Spider? 8/10

Black Spider is what I've renamed Anya Corazon's alternate personality. I originally intended for her to be simply The Spider, but it didn't look right on paper, so she became Black Spider.
As for Valeria, the only thing I got from Wachter's run about her was that she's smart but still a little immature. I couldn't really get a fix on her, so I'm not sure if I'm changing much or not.
Jim Hammond will play out a major roles in the future, so understand when I say I can't confirm or deny any of your questions.
And Doom...he is my brain-child for this run. His scenes for this issue spoke to me like I'm sure Hannibal Lecter's scenes spoke to Thomas Harris (which those are the saving grace to that series which is otherwise mediocre). I will be using Doom a LOT, to the point where he gets almost as much character progression and screen time as the Four, but he still manages to be their greatest enemy.
If you enjoyed the Doom parts over the Foundation scenes, then you'll love the last two issues of this arc.

It's very, very good. Much better than your Hulk issue, in my opinion. There were a few grammar errors here and there, but nothing one more proofread can't fix. There was only one that stuck out, and it's not bad just kind of funny, and that is at the end of the issue, the title of the next issue is only partway done. The last word is left out. "The Dance of" is how it ends, unless I missed something, which I doubt.
Also, the incessant talk of Spider-Man is a little odd, considering, and I don't believe I ever told you this so it's understandable, New York thinks Spidey is dead. Unless of course this is after Miles debuts as the new Spider-Man, in which case it's...okay. But most people, as you'll see, don't really like the new Spider-Man because he's replacing the city's big, sadly dead hero. Just a note for future reference when mentioning either Spider-Man.

I think the press is talking about Scarlet Spider and Black Spider. Not Miles as Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider.

Thank you for the kind words. I did reference Spider-Man once or twice, but, since I'm attempting to make it a bit vague in the first place, it can be after Miles appears. I made sure my reporters weren't really that opinionated on Spider-Man.

This was my least favorite of all your issues so far. It was littered with grammatical errors. The plot itself was interesting, except for one major flaw I found. Why the hell would the peasant army attack and kill random people they don't even know? They're only there for Doom's head, not the heads of every wealthy man and woman in the world.
And as a stated at the beginning, you needed to proof read this much, much more. There were tense issues, left out words, misspellings, etc. I'm not saying this issue was bad but it needed some work, if only in the proofreading parts of it.
6.5/10. Would be 8.5 if the grammar was better.

I admit I only gave this one a brief look-over. I'll have to spend more time proofreading the next issue.

Also, the revolutionaries' mentality is more like "Let's kill everyone in our way!." not so much "Let's kill everyone!

I really liked the Doom scenes in issue #2, I really like this version of Doom, he's recognisably Doom but there's an all star twist that makes me want to find out more about him. Issue #3 was more of a mixed bag, I loved the scenes with the four men, but Ben's scene seemed pointless, he goes to spy on Doom and then Doom appears quickly after, it seems it's only there to get rid of Ben for the fight scene that I presume is coming up. At this point I also don't care about Ben's crush on Valeria, it really doesn't seem to be more than Ben thinking she's hot I hope we get more to it soon.
